That rock in the center there… literally sat on that rock burning joints and contemplating/enjoying life for about 3 hours straight… miles and miles away from any sort of real life civilization. fuck your day job that you hate. do something good for your soul
Exploring caves. To put this photo in perspective, check the center of the beach for the vague outline of my cousin Kim. Massive walls! Unreal to experience in real life.
Ahhhh… You already know. Light clouds over the cliffs at Kalalau. Most recent memory of waking up on this beach includes: Watching the sun rise as the full moon set, across the same sky. Billy goats cruised along the rock walls of the waterfall (pictured direct center @ base of mountain). Substituted morning coffee for a 6am swim in untouched turquoise waves. A full night’s rest after boating in, catching my first fish & grilling it shortly after, and a long night of regretfully drinking Fireball for the first (and last) time in my life. Mahalo Kea Kua Kauai.
Kauai boys know how to cook. Fresh caught Mahi tacos with fresh sauteed green beans & mushrooms, veggies, mango & pineapple salsa, lots of lime, and tapatio.
